      Pros

      Corptax provides a team environment and encourages collaboration. The atmosphere is relaxed. Clients are carefully listened to which helps us improve software offerings. The company cares about employees. The competitive marketplace requires continuous innovation to maintain market share and that brings out the best in everyone, and keeps us on the leading edge.

      Cons

      Really glad new office is opening in downtown Chicago; that will take away my commute.

      Pros

      Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

      Cons

      Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
