Pros

It is a temporary paycheck until you can find another job, at least in the Outsourcing division. I have heard the other divisions are better places to work.

Cons

They value your contributions only if they have billable work forcasted for you or as long as the knowledge transfer to an offshore resource is going on. Once either of these conditions is no longer met, you are let go. There is no loyalty to long time employees. Management is constantly changing or moving around. I had 18 managers in 10 years. Very little training and non-billable resources are forced to take vacation time at end of year to help their books. They are the Wal-Mart of Outsourcing. A company only chooses CSC as their Outsourcer when they need the cheapest price because CSC will give away the house to book business. Look at their client base. A majority of them are having financial troubles. The other Outsourcers stay away from these clients. CSC has to take them on.

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Cons

Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
