Pros

The company paid on time.

Cons

You're leveraged to work several accounts. Long hours on salary during on-call rotation. Sometimes I worked 16 hour days. You're asked to work several P1 or P2 incidents at once. This was such a common practice that the team adopted a name called (doubling) incidents. This sacrificed service tremendously to the client. No bonuses. I worked there 7 years and only the company only gave 3 raises during my tenure which were only 2% which is below inflation.

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Cons

Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
