Pros
Life/work balance is definitely a plus and the ability to support remotely is beneficial. Co-workers are the best - and they carry this company - not management. Educational benefit is definitely worth taking advantage of before it too is ripped away. Personal growth opportunities are available.
Cons
Every benefit has been reduced over the last 15+ years. No raises, bonus', or recognition of any kind, forced vacations, annual employer 401k contribution instead of per pay period. Personal effort means nothing if revenue isn't generated for CSC. No OT pay or comp time (but CSC gets paid for it). CSC has and will pay you below the lowest range of your job classification. How this is legal and ethical is a mystery. Shameful treatment of the very people who are making it possible to pay off shareholders and executive salaries.
