Pros

90,000 employee workforce and organizational gaps create great opportunity for advancement. Initiative is rewarded with more responsibility, sometimes more than you're ready for. Many great groups to work for all around the globe.

Cons

CSC tends to be a 2nd tier IT company, but is actively trying to change that. Nevertheless, management is generally a couple steps behind industry leaders, salaries are usually at or below market, employees are usually second tier, and technology is just as good as what customers are asking for (not much cutting edge). CSC has grown by acquisition, so there isn't a worldwide corporate culture. Your experience at CSC will vary widely depending on where you work, so base your decision on the particular group you're trying to join.

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Cons

Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
