Butterfly Effect - Database Administrator CSG Employee Review

Any change that is made has the potential to be detrimental with an unknown application causing a catastrophic outcome for clients. Applications are intermingled among one another and between teams. Oncall rotation can be VERY brutal, expect implementing code changes at night and if you aren’t implementing them expect to be on at night to validate changes another team does. In the last year the paperwork process to perform necessary work has become time consuming and at times 3 different applications are needed to perform the work. Management appears to be more concerned with their personal bonuses then promoting individual workers via a raise and or with a promotion. Culture within CSG has changed drastically in the last 5 years and it isn't for the better.
