Pros

Nice office, gym, friendly colleagues.

Cons

Balancing work and life can be a bit of a struggle because our work hours are pretty rigid, from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Leaving right at 5:30 PM isn't really encouraged, which can be a bit tricky to deal with. Sadly, they've taken away the option to work remotely, which used to be a real morale booster. That change didn't sit well with the team. Now, let's talk about the Tech Team. Some folks think our leadership team doesn't exactly set the best example when it comes to work ethic. They seem to try and avoid taking on too much, and they're not exactly subtle about it. They can be a bit condescending when they talk to the team, which has some of us questioning their professionalism. It looks like they're really into passing off responsibilities to the recruiters, which makes you wonder about what exactly their role is. I'd strongly recommend thinking twice before considering a job in this dept. It's pretty clear that it can have a pretty negative impact on your job satisfaction and overall well-being. If you're thinking of joining the team, be ready for some potential challenges and headaches that might come with it. Leaving this team was the best decision.

Pros

Long term contracts, good pay, remote and on site work options, if on site you are able to travel home often (how often depends on the client), request time off, they pay for accomadations if you work on site.

Cons

no holiday pay unless you have a certain amount of hours accumulated, which is fair.

Cons

Low pay, does not increase by more than $1 over time. Hourly pay was decreased due to "operational needs" after 3 years
