Decent starting pay for managers.
Cons
Low pay for line staff. You have to manage people mostly with diplomas or GEDs. Starting pay is low enough that it is difficult finding good staff that will stay. Turnover is very high. Also, after accepting a position you will be lucky to get inflation raises for high performance year after year. The only way to effectively raise your salary is through getting promoted.
