Pros
Being employed. Getting a paycheck.
Cons
I left on my own volition so don't assume this is all sour grapes, just an honest assessment of working at CXT before and after the corporate takeover. The company was a great place to work before it was purchased. After the purchase it was like some kind of Brewster's Millions movie where a new owners had to tank a company in a matter of months before they could get a reward. Their first order of business was to demote, fire, lay off or push out any female managers in the company. In a software company this was clearly glaringly obvious as there were only about 5 of them. I'm assuming this was to pave way for their new army of employees from foreign countries not known for their uhh, "enlightened view" of the equality of the genders. Within a month it was clear that their grand vision for turning CXT to a cash cow was to replace American workers with foreign workers they would pay a fraction of the cost, and to turn our customers upside down and try to shake out any extra penny they could with increased fees and rates. I dont know if theyre even still hiring people in the USA anymore, but for any of you willing to sit through their 7 interview interview process, you have been warned. It is a mismanaged mess with people that seemingly continue to fail up running the show.
