Pros
individual stores offer incentive discounts for meeting metrics on customer service or credit card sales. sometimes good Christmas discount for outfitters. friends and family discount when they get same as employee basecamp discount. they do promote from within but they ask so much of their leads and management i wouldn't want to rise. used to be a great company with a good name and good products...corp penny pinching on quality killed it. good customer service to help customers get what they need.
Cons
Corporate nightmare, spend $$ on helicopter flights and ridiculous 'nature sound' audio that sounds like someone dragging a body thru the woods...that lasted about a month before customer feedback killed it. they bragged about the $$$$$ they spent on it while we were making $9/hr. poor communication. communication is poor, meetings and memos about nothing important while big changes happen without notice.
