Compensation and benefits are good, benefits are good, work environment is average, intra-corporate communications are good. The product line and aspirations to be a great company are good and getting better.
Cons
The home office is located in a very small town with all of the limitations that implies. You might think that for this reason, housing would be inexpensive. Think again. The local banks seem to conspire to keep housing scarce, so prices for even poor housing are much higher than they should be. Because of their location, the company seems to have a hard time attracting and keeping top-drawer management personnel. This causes an abundance of petty fiefdoms and lack of esprit de corps. There are some managers at all levels that excel despite their limitations.
