Long hours with low pay and little opportunity for advancement - Guest Services Manager Caesars Entertainment Employee Review

Pros

Free Health Center (never used it) Solid Resume Builder Networking with other lower level managers (few will advance, many will leave. Keep contact with everyone.) Location: Las Vegas Multi-property experience (HIFOB: Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Flamingo, O'Shea's, Bill's)

Cons

Pay...it's not very competitive. There's also no incentive pay. Work hard, get paid the same. Long Hours without recognition for effort. They exploit their employees and guests. Long hours for fewer than necessary employees, and guests get 2 water bottles and glow sticks when the power goes out. Comps aren't accessible. Blind eye to heavy FMLA abuse. Unhelpful HR...too lenient with Culinary and Teamsters' Unions

Pros

Hybrid schedule and employee dining hall make it easy to worry less about things such as commute and meals. The demands aren't overly difficult.

Cons

The transition to more days in office and a newly instated time tracker means the company is shifting more towards a culture that doesn't prioritize employee feedback. It's clear they're trying to lay off people through this in office transition and these unpopular changes.
