Pros

Free coffee, OJ, Milk, peanut butter, occasional snacks, on deck with creamers

Cons

The business has gone down the toilet ever since our CEO left a few years ago. The wrong people have been hired to lead this company which is why their headquarters has moved from CA to North Carolina, profits are not as high as they used to be, and customers don’t get treated as they deserve to be. Tons of people have quit, or we’re forced to relocate or resign. You always wear more than one hat, whatever job you apply for will not be the only role you are asked to play. Most of the company is just like a high school, there are favorites, there is malice, people talk about each other, management gets away with anything, HR doesn’t do thorough investigations and follow ups, they allow people with no people skills be in charge. Most of the managers don’t even know what their team does and can’t cover if someone is out. They love to pass their work on to their team instead of doing it themselves. You don’t get paid extra to train other people or to do their work, but you still get asked to do it anyway. I can go on and on but I think this is enough to make you think twice about applying here. They took away a lot of our benefits with the CEO change including health insurance benefits at zero cost, and bonuses.

Pros

Personal Time Off is generous.

Cons

Truly inexperienced Home Center Management Team resulting in poor Leadership and ineffective management of a Sales Team. Lack of transparency in bonus calculations. Unrealistic Territory assignments due to lack of proper staff hiring. Current Leadership has not generated any new accounts during the last 18mths, resulting in a lost opportunity for increased revenue. Tremendous turnover in US Corporate Staff with the outcome as a in lack of oversite.
