Pros

I started as a Behavior Technician with little experience in the field, and was trained by competent managers and BCBAs. I ended up applying to graduate school for ABA, and am pursuing my BCBA. I have been able to obtain supervision hours from BCBAs at the company for my Indpendent Fieldwork. I am also allotted money each year for Professional Development, which I can use towards conferences like CalABA. I also love that the company is center-based, and I have access to my supervisors at all times. It is a collaborative workplace that values it's employees. As a behavior technician, I was always able to ask questions and seek advice from my supervisors, which is not always the case for in-home companies. I was also able to work my schedule around my morning job and college courses for a total of 15 hours per week, though most BTs work more hours than that.

Cons

Due to the nature of the field, schedule changes happen often, though that is typical in any ABA company. Salary is not as high as companies who offer in-home services.
