Best part of this job was the flexibility of working from home and meeting new people everyday.
Cons
The management is very confusing as there are too many opinions; too many hands in the pot. Designers are commission only with very little expenses paid for gas, etc. Irt's a competitive job that creates a lot of stress to meeting goals and constantly having one-on-one meetings with management to over analyze your performance each month. The job makes you start to overthink every sale, if you're saying the right things and offering the best products (that corporate wants you to push). Unfortunately it becomes much less about designing a beautiful space and more about the pettiness that happens between designers "vs" office staff, installers and fellow designers.
