Pros
Flexibility with schedule, great product and brand recognition, decent pay if you're a good sales person, great people (customers and colleagues).
Cons
Too much responsibility for one individual: sales, design, customer service, project manager...you're on call 24/7. In addition to that, every franchise is different, but mine is tarnishing the brand with poor management run by fear tactics and bullying. Extremely negative work environment and I've seen several skilled designers leave due strictly to the management style at my franchise.
