Pros

Coworkers are great. They are really the company's saving grace. They are also the reason I still have some sanity left. Coworkers made it bearable. Other than that there are literally no pros

Cons

You are forced to work on your lunch time while the manager stands there doing absolutely nothing and watches the line of slaves (the msr's & ABM) work tirelessly, then has the audacity to say "i'm exhausted!!" Exhausted?? From what??? Watching your tellers and your ABM take a beating while you stand there arms crossed or on your cell all day?? Management has no backbone so when a member disrespects you, you WILL be scolded for not letting the member treat you like trash. Management WILL NOT HAVE YOUR BACK. They pay you a measly 12/hr and expect you to bend over and let the members do what they want with you just so their branch wont get a bad customer survey. You are the members punching bag. They come in already upset and you are instructed to take the blows from them with a smile. Beware the consequences if you dont. Incentives for referrals have been cut in half yet the referral goals have been doubled. Basically they force you to do more work with less pay....sweatshop comes to mind. Typical customer service job where you are not respected, not fairly compensated for all you have to take, not valued. Unless you are desperate for a job and dont mind being sold to the member with the LOWEST BID do not work here!!!

Pros

Supportive coworkers, opportunities to gain banking and customer service experience, and exposure to different areas of the credit union. The organization offers educational benefits and professional development opportunities for employees.

Cons

Tuition reimbursement requirements and eligibility standards were not clearly defined in my experience. I came to the company as a student through the Handshake platform and relied on the employee handbook when enrolling in courses. During the reimbursement review process, additional documentation requirements and eligibility considerations arose that were not clearly communicated upfront. Employees considering the tuition reimbursement program should obtain all requirements, exclusions, deadlines, and documentation expectations in writing before enrolling in coursework.
