I came to the company as a student through the Handshake platform and relied on the employee handbook when enrolling in courses. During the reimbursement review process, additional documentation requirements and eligibility considerations arose that were not clearly communicated upfront. Employees considering the tuition reimbursement program should obtain all requirements, exclusions, deadlines, and documentation expectations in writing before enrolling in coursework.
