Pros

Calix has an amazing culture of inclusion, collaboration and commitment. The corporate on-boarding experience was extensive and comprehensive. Leadership at Calix means what they say about partnerships, relationships and the prospects forward. I am very happy in my role and the support I am given. Additionally, there is a lot of latitude to innovate, propose new ideas and strategies and make individual differences.

Cons

The interview process was very lengthy. I had about (8) virtual 1:1 interviews with managers, existing team members and executives. While this was a bit arduous, the end result was very successful. Everyone in the interview process had some perspective, providing me with additional insight and information to make my decision on whether to pursue an offer or not.

The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
