- People first / remote first mindset coupled with a healthy abundance of people/systems/tooling resources cultivates an environment where people and technology can thrive
- Product line and direction from leadership that puts Calix in a position of growth
- Benefits, culture, employee support
Cons
- We could move a little faster on adopting newer technologies / feature-sets, but am otherwise impressed with our quarterly software releases.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad our people-first culture and strong product direction are making a positive impact. We appreciate your suggestion on moving faster with new technologies and will keep working to support both our teams and customers every step of the way.
Incredible culture focused on passion, respect for diverse perspectives, and initiatives that foster innovation. Remote work provides outstanding autonomy, allowing you the freedom to own your schedule and deliver results reliably.
Cons
Remote work is great, but limits team cohesion and relationship building.
Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.
Cons
Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
