Pros

Good and interesting products, strong engineering talent (formerly) in U.S. and Nanjing. Proud to contribute to NGPON2 effort at leading edge of industry.

Cons

All SVP level management are utterly inept charlatans. Company has placed nearly all development effort with Infosys. Development management degenerated to finger pointing. A formerly great company sent to ruins by the worst management that I ever suffered. I left by my own choice while it still was my choice. The last 3 years were a nightmare of wasted intense effort and wasted life.

We value and so appreciate you and others that have contributed to the awesome work over the years at Calix...and specifically the great NGPON2 effort and leading the industry in this technology. We take your "Cons" seriously. Effective leadership that creates a team environment that thrives and is engaged is always a priority for Calix, in parallel with being transparent with our own. Best to you in the work you are doing now.

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
