Pros

The pay is competitive in market.

Cons

It's unfair and awful working environment. A lot of politics. People don't do their work and are not accountable for that. Most of key positions are taken by people not having the compatible technical skills and not even having any ethics. The reason those people are there in those positions are simply because they could stay in this place no matter what. A lot of turnover because of that.

It's definitely hard to read comments that our work environment is felt to be unfair and awful. Although, we so value you being transparent and upfront of what is really top of mind as one of our own. We greatly appreciate the advice to keep the big picture and blue ocean in front of us. Continue to raise your ideas and recommendations to your leader, myself and others. Thanks for taking the time in ensure we are even more aligned and focused on our talented people in all that we do!

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
