Pros

Love working here. Very challenging because company is evolving in both technology and culture.

Cons

Sometime working remote can be lonely and feels disconnected from company but I doubt that is specific to Calix.

We are glad to hear you are enjoying your experience at Calix. Calix continues to evolve in our fast-paced industry, and as stated in our Q2 Earnings letter to stockholders, our strategy is performing well as evidenced in a very positive reception to new service offerings across a broad segment of our customer base, in addition to the strong pipeline of platform opportunities ahead of us. As a global Company, we do have a very diverse workforce that spans across the globe with ~60 employees working onsite at a Company location and ~40 employees working virtually. We are constantly looking at ways we can make all employees feel better connected in their daily work experiences. Thanks for the feedback! We will take this back to the team and continue to look at ways we can help our employees feel better connected across the globe.

Incredible culture focused on passion, respect for diverse perspectives, and initiatives that foster innovation. Remote work provides outstanding autonomy, allowing you the freedom to own your schedule and deliver results reliably.

Cons

Remote work is great, but limits team cohesion and relationship building.

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
