Pros

Culture, Teammates, Fully Remote, Benefits, Leadership, Resources. Having come from a fairly small company previously, it is an amazing thing to have access to the resources provided at Calix, and the flexibility that remote work offers was a major incentive for my decision to join Calix.

Cons

There is a lot to learn, and being fully remote can make that challenging. But that is largely offset by the amount of documentation available as well as having multiple tools that allow for easy collaboration with your team.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review on your experience at Calix. We are so happy to hear that you are having a positive experience with your team, the working environment, and leadership! At Calix, we are a remote first company with no plans of returning to an office. We think this offers an unbeatable work-life balance for our employees! We recognize that the learning curve coming into Calix can be steep, but are actively enhancing our Employee Onboarding Program to address gaps that we have identified. We will continue to gather feedback from our employees to understand their experience at Calix and create positive changes for everyone. We appreciate your review and candid feedback on what it is like to be an employee at Calix!

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
