Pros

Calix has started India operations over 3 years now and has been steadily growing up in Bangalore. Company has a vision and wants India teams to take full responsibilities and align to those vision/goals/roadmap. Leadership team (executives) has a strong belief and vision on India teams, they listen carefully to all the feedback provided, work on them and make sure they are addressed. There are lots of new initiatives/roadmap identified and all the teams are quite engaged in learning and delivering something new all the time. Company provides free transportation, food, home furtniture to support WFH and also half yearly gifts to appreciate the contributions of each and every employee.

Cons

Calix as a company has to provide better infrastructure for India site in terms of labs, office space and make sure teams focus on delivering what is expected, due to minimal office space, there will be chaos when people turn out to office in big numbers. US managers and teams should think about India times and support WLB, as all the meetings happens for India late night and US teams morning.

Pros

Calix has an excellent company culture where employees genuinely support one another. The collaboration across departments is one of its biggest strengths, making it easy to work together toward common goals. The company also offers a great work-life balance and promotes a flexible, respectful work environment that allows employees to be productive while maintaining their personal lives.

Cons

Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-Sales roles, as responsibilities grow. Advancement opportunities can also be limited for certain departments, making it challenging for employees looking for long-term career progression within the company.
