Pros

Pros - great benefits, understand the need to be flexible with time off, do listen to suggestions - just don't act on it. If you are a white man who loves to execute other people's ideas work here.

Cons

Cons - Only one woman in upper management who is also the only person of diversity - otherwise expect white men who have little background in education or technology running six educational technology companies. Sales in all but 2 of the companies have been at best flat. . Upper management is not open to those in positions below advancing with new ideas - they run a tight, closed, upper management team who support one another is making no changes as to who the company has been invested in or run for at east the past 6 years. They are dieing on the vine and as another reviewer said, there is no vision. The world is going mobile yet there is no movement into the mobile arena. They have two internet-based companies that are doing very well yet the things that have made those companies successful have not been applied to the four flat companies. It is status quo management and status quo will not win in a world that is constantly growing its expectations. If you want a 9-5 job for about three - five years (as that is as long as the company will last) where you show up, execute others ideas, get time off when you need it and great benefits then this is a place for you.

Pros

It's a great company, and a great environment. Very inclusive and focused on diversity

Cons

They are actively moving to AI, and have been facing lower sales due to budget cuts across education. Both of these have contributed to them doing 3 layoffs in the 20 months I worked there.
