They have a strict dress code and you cannot wear sneakers to work as office personell, which is hilarious because all of the upper management in district and national offices get to wear sneakers and have far less physically demanding jobs, there's a "hug" culture which is a bit much for me and has resulted in a DOJ investigation, they also pay significantly less than other PM companies and compensate with nicities like pizza parties and educational trainings. There is also limited opportunities for growth especially in smaller markets. Aside from that I have witnessed favoritism, discrimination and other HR violations be swept under the rug with no explanation. Even though Leasing staff is mostly female you can bet camden will always treat male leasing employees with more grace and $$$ than female counterparts.
