Pros
4 weeks paid vacation annually, decent medical benefits, tuition assistance, cafeteria & gym on site, freedom to work on different projects
Cons
HR department is a complete joke, if you do reach out to suggest improvements you need to be ready for the repercussions that will follow in the form of gossiping, partial treatment, etc. For example, HR manager actually parks in the visitors lot because rules created by that department do not apply to that department. No room for growth due to a wide and top heavy organization. Levels in a typical department include: Senior Director, Director, Senior Manager, Manager, Supervisr and finally anywhere between 1-10 individuals actually working. The company could save millions if they would take the time to re-structure and cut out the floaters who are waiting it out for retirement. Recent graduates hired as "engineers" do work that could be done by administrative or specialist positions. Pay is lower than similar titles at other companies... but considering majority of engineers do not do engineering work it makes sense to pay less.
