      Decent pay and benefits Nice facilities Fellow employees are nice

      Cons

      Lots of favoritism, not allot of room for advancement, salaries are top heavy, managers/directors and above are overpaid and like to micromanage, managers and directors are shuffled through departments which is a problem when they have no experience in said field. Lots of good ol boy mentality

      Great company with excellent pay and solid benefits package. Extremely clean environment with new and calibrated tooling and machinery.

      Cons

      Newport News is a very crowded city.

      great cafeteria and green space for walking. Great facilities and equipment, resources, people with lots of experience.

      Financial downturn has left it an unstable place to work long term. High risk of layoffs
