      Capspecialty provides great training and leadership for those who would like to pursue a career in insurance.

      Cons

      I felt that I was underpaid when compared to what other insurance companies were offering for a similar role with the same level of work experience.

      Pros

      Flexibility. Entrepreneurial. Supports desire to attend regional and national functions. Pay has become more aligned with the industry. Mentor/Mentee opportunities for those that seek it. Hybrid and remote work options.

      Cons

      Very limited growth opportunities. Open PTO comes with a cost, often working during scheduled time off. Communication and collaboration is lacking. Little recognition for exceptional work.
