Pros

I've been an employee of Capacity Interactive for many years, and I never want to leave. The company is made up of a group of smart, empathetic, highly driven, arts lovers doing good work for the industry. Joining Capacity Interactive was a critical point in my career - it has opened incredible doors, challenged me both interpersonally and from a hard-skills perspective, and I've made lifelong friends. Apply to work at Capacity Interactive if you are committed to the arts, value equity, diversity, and inclusion, and are prepared to work hard and challenge yourself.

Cons

I don't have any negatives to add at this time. However, if your dream is to work inside an arts organization, or you don't have a passion and curiosity for digital marketing - look elsewhere.

Pros

You’re encouraged to bring your full self to work and perform as the expert in the room from day 1. Clients are great and flexible hours. Very good place to work as a mom. Totally remote. Amazing DEI, industry leader in fact.

Cons

If you don’t fit into the established culture you might feel excluded. Very low pay.

Pros

Decent snacks and made a few, awesome friendships (miss them).

Cons

CI is a place where employees are living in their own little digital marketing bubble. The entire company is very clique-y and if you don't fit into the so called "CI mold" you're immediately not part of the family. They (upper management) act very nice and preach about employee happiness, but they don't know how to listen and understand the difficult obstacles you're facing at work. Upper management and team leaders trick you into thinking that they're being open and willing to help but they cast this unspoken expectation over you and if you fall short on these expectations, instead of trying to help, they put you through different tests to see how you'll fail and ultimately "let you go". The company vibe and environment is just weird and everyone there thinks they're the smartest people -- a huge turn-off, and honestly felt anxious and scared to go in to work everyday.
