Pros

Atleast providing wfh with medical insurance

Cons

During this pandemic company has not done anything for their employees unlike other companies...no leave carry forward, no encashment, no internet allowance, no peace of mind they are providing to people..they just want their work to be done, making lot of money but not willing to share..so many people will resign but doesn't matter

It is simply not true to say that Capco’s medical insurance benefit is the only measure we have put in place to help our people in the pandemic. Capco is committed to putting our people first. We have instructed our employees to prioritize their own, and their families’ mental and physical health and we have put in place a range of measures to support our staff, including: • COVID-19 Workgroup – this team updates and shares useful material with the firm and employees on a regular basis, including guidance from the authorities and updates from health organizations . The group also oversees, for example, developments in working patterns across the firm. • Logistical Support – some offices have established teams of volunteers who support employees with any logistical support required. • Company Sponsored Medical Insurance – available for employees. Our vendor has been instructed to be available 24/7 and to extend all required support to our people. • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – through our EAP cover, employees and their families have access to independent and confidential counselling and support services. • Employee Benefits – we provide generous sick leave and, in some countries where there is a pressing need, salary advances for proven hardship cases. • Health and Wellbeing Sessions – the firm has launched a series of sessions for employees covering COVID-19 care, stress management, anxiety and general mental and physical wellbeing. These are led by our HR teams as well as external professionals. We are also committed to reviewing the measures we have put in place so that we can ensure that we continue to provide our people and their families with all the support that they might require. If there are any additional actions that you think the firm should be taking at this time, please contact Richard Gartside or Suzanne Madden with your suggestions. The firm is looking to provide the best support possible to our people at this difficult time.

Pros

Capco has a friendly culture where people like to win together. A solid meritocracy that is expertise focused, and growth oriented with approachable leaders and plenty of opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Employees should be self-motivated (which for me is a plus), but being a smaller company it does lack clear and standard documentation routines. There is no one-size fits all career map, which allows self-starters to succeed and rise quickly in the organization.
