Pros
-Interviews weren't too difficult, good balance of seeking good cultural fit and tech experience/knowledge -Good work culture -Covered expenses of occasional work trips to the office including food and lodging (for remote workers)
Cons
-Pay wasn't too competitive compared to the rest of the tech industry -Stopped giving out bonuses and minimal inflation raises due to challenges company faced financially -Barely got to get actual modern tech-stack coding experience. Mostly worked on documentation or on a third-party software rarely used across the tech industry -Started forcing employees that were hired as remote workers to shift to hybrid even if they were over an hour away from office -Seemed like you needed to disrupt your work-life balance in order to even be considered for a promotion
