Pros

Used to be a good company

Cons

New HR policies are like the team members. No process , no due diligence all after immature hr heads joining in. They make polcies without any understanding of how Consultancy works. New Rto policy is drafted like kids. Best are the awards esp annual award. Other companies have them to houner delivery guys who are bringing money. Here HR themselves celebrate the awards giving them selves every 2nd one.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Capco, we continuously review our policies and benefits to ensure they reflect market standards, support our people, and align with the evolving nature of our work. These are shaped with input from leadership and employees to create an environment that supports both professional and personal growth. Our Return to Office (RTO) process has been in place for the past two years, with expectations clearly communicated and applied consistently. Recently, additional governance has been introduced to ensure clarity, accountability, and fairness - reflecting standard practices across the industry. The intent is to support collaboration and maintain the flexibility our business demands, while fostering an engaging workplace culture. Recognition is another cornerstone of our employee experience. Our programs are designed to celebrate impact, collaboration, and excellence. The annual R&R awards, along with monthly and quarterly recognitions, highlight achievements across the business. Our R&R ceremony follows a transparent and structured process. Nominations were open to all, followed by a phase of presentations and panel interviews. Panels were composed of leaders from across the business, carefully selected to ensure fairness and avoid conflicts of interest. This inclusive approach ensured diverse perspectives and upheld the integrity of the process. Award categories acknowledged both individual and team contributions, with adjustments made to reflect the scale and impact of achievements - guided by panel recommendations and peer input. We appreciate your perspective and remain committed to enhancing our employee experience through thoughtful governance, open feedback, and meaningful recognition.

Pros

Varied client work — Different clients and project types, which keeps things interesting. Real project mobility — You can move between projects when you advocate for yourself (within reason). Approachable leadership — Senior leaders are open to conversations if you reach out. Good development resources — Plenty of training and growth opportunities if you take advantage of them. Strong teams — Colleagues are smart, capable, and great to work with. Entrepreneurial environment — New ideas are encouraged, and there’s room to take initiative.

Cons

Long hours vary by project — Like most any professional job, some engagements require extended hours for prolonged periods, but work–life balance really depends on the client and team. Additional internal responsibilities — Depending on level, there can be a significant amount of firm‑support work outside of client delivery. Domain alignment not guaranteed — You may not always be staffed on projects that match your domain expertise. Coaching alignment constraints — Coaching relationships are tied to domain, which limits flexibility in choosing formal mentors. Long engagements (sometimes) — Some projects run for long durations or through multiple extensions. It can provides stability but may reduce variety in client and project experience depending on what you’re looking for.
