Pros
Nice offices and they don't work too long hours, that's about it really
Cons
This is a very old, backward organisation that only exists because of large clients that they have had for many years. They refuse to change and update their products (they still don't use derivatives), their systems and their processes. A depressing place to work where even changing the paper in the copier needs 5 levels of authorisation. Career progression is very limited. To get a decent investment role you need to come in on the grad programme and only ever work there. Managements outlook is very narrow and insular as most have never worked for any other organisation. And to put the nail in the coffin, bonuses (outside of the investment managers and marketing) have a strict cap at a very low level.
