Pros

- Great culture based on finding the right answers, with very limited politics. - Very few rules: each investor decides how they create maximum value - Good place to develop as an investor. Low turnover and long tenure means people invest a lot in colleagues because they'll be there for the next decade - High sense of ownership. Most people care about creating a good environment. - Fairly intense culture. Not a place to coast or hide. The pace is flexible but high. - Good environment for interactions between diverse people. As a LGBTQ+ person, I've always been fully myself at work, but it's more about colleagues knowing me and my partner and me knowing them and their families rather than more "formal" interactions curated by CG Pride (also great but more similar to other corporates)

Cons

- If you need new titles and hierarchical markets to keep track of progress, it might disappoint. This is a place for people who care more about the substance of the job than about positional hierarchy. - The culture is the same throughout the organization but the dynamics are not as unique outside the investment group

Pros

The bonuses and CSRP of 15% as well as many benefits are unmatched. I enjoy many of my colleagues and have made life long friends.

Cons

It was a great place to work and many will continue to feel that way until they are affected like those of us in the Norfolk Virginia office. There is no loyalty from the company and people are replaced either by a “vision“ of technology that doesn’t yet even exist within the organization or by cheap labor “offshore“. I thought I would retire from here and now I find myself out of a job after over 20 years before the end of 2027.
