Pros

Handling covid well. I’m a new grad who started recently and worked in other hospitals while in nursing school and I feel that they have provided their nursing with more PPE and incentive pay. As a new grad they have you take a dysrhythmia course and ACLS certification.

Cons

Wish their nurse residency had more to it. Honestly don’t feel like I get much more training than a nurse with experience who gets hired there. Wish there were more classes, IV training, meeting with the class. The hospital is also very medsurg/tele first before putting a new grad in the icu/intermediate units.

Pros

Benefits, some team members, classes, PTO, and understanding family needs.

Cons

No growth, it's not what you know, it's who, favoritism, lots of promises, upper management is the mean girls club, will hire family and friends before long-term workers. Promise raises and advancement, then it's not given; get blackballed into a department. They'd rather lose valuable employees than uplift. Work in a toxic environment with minimal just have to wait out the trash.
