Capital Medical Center is a great place to work for highly motivated professionals. Add Capital the physicians work very closely with the Registered Nurses on each Unit. My position as Hospital Supervisor was fulfilling and challenging at times
Cons
Challenging was the staffing of the units for registered nurses we were always short and always had to make many many attempts to get others to come in and work overtime that was probably the biggest drawback I encountered.
Working with people who genuinely care about patient outcomes and one another makes it a great place to work. They are willing to do what it takes to improve the healthcare environment.
Cons
As with any job that involves potentially making life and death decisions, there can be a high level of stress. That stress can filter down through all levels of employees at the hospital making work life a bit more challenging.
