Pros
Coworkers are incredible. Brilliant CEO with a good heart. Thinking innovatively for a bank. Internal mobility is easy once passed the front lines. Company pride is real. Phenomenal development programs at every level & insane amount of educational resources. I went from a phone service associate to a Product Manager because of them. Great diversity programs they genuinely support. Smart C-Suite is highly selective in what parts of banking industry to engage with or not. Incredibly generous benefits with 401K matching, PTO, and family support. Great culture of doing the right thing, and meaning it.
Cons
Midyear and year end calibrations are know pain point that is counterintuitive to every other element of the culture, as it is strictly based on a bell curve. Front line associates have to work x3 harder to break into back office roles, but getting far better. Remote work is nay impossible to lock down. Remote associates earn ~20% less than their level counterparts at main offices. Nor do they adjust if you move. Pay increase and levels are very secretive. Due to their strong culture of assuming positive intent, for managers or individuals that are truly causing major problems it's hard to convince HR of what's occuring to the point of repercussions.
