Pros

I love working at Capitol Physical Therapy. We have amazing physical therapists and staff who are incredibly welcoming, kind, patient, and open to answering any questions that arise. I have learned so much and have gained great experience for going into physical therapy graduate school.

Cons

The only downside is my commute, but this wouldn't be an issue for everyone.

Pros

This role was such a positive experience for me. I got the unique perspective of both the behind-the-scenes as a care coordinator and more of the “hands-on” work as a PT tech and working with patients. This really helped me understand the full picture of that physical therapy looks like in this type of setting and I feel like it has prepared me well for PT school myself. Not only did I get to learn immensely about the profession but I felt very supported in my own professional journey as well. Julie has been an incredible mentor both for this role and in helping me apply and get accepted to PT school. This is a great experience for anyone taking a gap year and I highly recommend it!
