Pros

- Versatility. Captiveaire has allowed me to transfer between manufacturing, engineering, and sales throughout the course of my career. This has allowed me to learn many new skills and grow as an employee/individual. - "In touch Leadership" Being that the company is privately owned, they are able to operate without high levels of bureaucracy. This forces the ownership and leadership to be very in tune with what is going on. - Rewarding Captiveaire expects you to work hard, but they will take care of you for your hard work and commitment. I wouldn't have worked here for so long if they didn't take care of me.

Cons

- Hardwork Captiveaire is not a company that you can coast. They expect 110% at all times and this can be challenging at times. - Fast Paced Captiveaire moves fast and if you aren't always focused it is easy to get left in the dust.

Pros

Almost no Pros for this position, if you are just looking for a manufacturing role this seems like an alright company that at least tries to care about you. The free lunches are usually pretty good too.

Cons

Bad pay, very strict time schedules, and ZERO engineering experience expected to be gained from this role. You are treated as a full time manufacturing associate. This entire company does not know how to utilize talent accordingly, engineers are doing menial tasks and you are doing NOTHING. Every promotion or managerial position seems to be decided entirely on if you are related to someone higher up in the company or if you are buddy buddy with a manager.
