A terrible place to start an engineering career - Technical Sales and Field Service Engineer CaptiveAire Employee Review

Pros

Bonuses were offered after a probationary period, some flexibility with working remote.

Cons

Everything about this company is sleazy. You are taught to fight to include CaptiveAire as a design alternate when it is very clear we couldn't meet the specs. "We will deal with it later" was a very common phrase in the office. You will learn very little in the way of actual MEP design, despite what they very generously call a "technical resource center." Your regional manager can make the office a miserable place and there is no transparency on how bonus profit sharing is split among team members. The CEO constantly throws his political beliefs in your face through mandatory "book club meetings" and trying to undo COVID restrictions meant to protect his employees. Truly the worst place I have ever worked.
