Rewarding working with children who have autism, seeing their progress. They make the job worth it. Healthcare, dental care, etc in benefits package.

Cons

Very little communication between clinics or even clinic and administration. Clinic directors are responsible for the energy of the clinic, feels very unsupportive and isolating as an entry level worker if management is not present. Few checks and balances, feels unprofessional

- Consistent opportunities for growth - Willing to help you get RBT certified quickly - Willing to hire pretty much anyone (see cons too)

Cons

- Extremely high turnover and burnout rate - Unspoken expectation to 'just tough it out' or leave - Poor management at the time (and high turnover of management/BCBAs too) - Constant drama/'tea' between employees - Numerous firings due to employees abusing clients or constantly calling in 'sick' and messing up everybody else's schedules for the day
