Caravel Autism Health provides high quality services to children diagnosed with autism and their families. We can provide high quality services because of the framework provided by the leaders. There is a strong emphasis on retaining staff and assisting them to grow within the company. The company mission and values are demonstrated from the highest level of management down. It's great to see strategic planning and goal setting for a company in this field. I love working for Caravel!

Cons

Flexibility is required as there are occasional changes in the ABA field, typically driven by insurance companies.

- Consistent opportunities for growth - Willing to help you get RBT certified quickly - Willing to hire pretty much anyone (see cons too)

Cons

- Extremely high turnover and burnout rate - Unspoken expectation to 'just tough it out' or leave - Poor management at the time (and high turnover of management/BCBAs too) - Constant drama/'tea' between employees - Numerous firings due to employees abusing clients or constantly calling in 'sick' and messing up everybody else's schedules for the day
