Pros

If you like Magic, you'll learn a lot about the game. The majority of folks are nice and you might make some friendships, as is the case anywhere.

Cons

Completely upended social distancing and other countermeasures mid-way through pandemic. The management and HR are what might be called "smiley-face socialists," they excel in matters of DEI, but they fail miserably on the economic front, seldom actually listening to said employees or treating them with respect when there are problems. They schmooze the union in public while looking to undermine it in private. Whether you're a socialist or a capitalist, it is difficult to deny that this company has embraced the darker aspects of amoral hypercapitalism more and more year after year.

Pros

Loved the leadership I directly worked under, I'd take a bullet for em. But the actual higher ups, eeehhh...

Cons

Company has changed a lot since I first started and with those changes came a sh*****r work environment. Wish I still worked there though. Had to leave when they left for a new facility out of Seattle. Also their union sucked @ss.

Pros

Most of my coworkers were great Pretty good benefits

Cons

Upper management are habitual line pushers with the union, often a new rule would crop up if they found a loophole in the contract to punish employees Rules changed often and it was also common to hear contradictory info as management often pushed these rules last minute on supervisors to inform teams Constant overtime due to constant MTG set releases If you miss a day of work, you are not eligible for overtime pay that week, which leads the company to ask for overtime for holidays using the excuse of downtime in order to work the workers more without having to pay them fairly Lowest retention rate I've ever seen at a company, I worked there for 1 year and 11 months and my team fully rotated almost 4 times Upper management is blatantly anti-union to a frankly cartoonish degree
