Pros

Generous PTO, pay decent, some telecommuting opportunities.

Cons

Management, training, expensive health insurance, bad dental coverage, no support, antiquated systems, unprofessionalism. My review: I worked at Carecentrix for about 5 years and it went from bad to worse as time went on. At first, the supervisor was nice - for about 2 months and then her evil side came out. The training was by another employee and was insufficient. The supervisor never had a hand in training, nor checked if the training was thorough. When assistan e was needed, I was advised to ask other employees and got conflicting and at times incorrect information. As a whole, the department lacked professionalism - there was favoritism, retaliation by way of unfair work assignments and distribution. There was always drama, vicious gossip, and cliques. It is a toxic work environment. The director was completely clueless out the goings on in the department as well as on the actual processes and duties the employees did - the only concern was making the numbers. Really, that is all management cared about - numbers, numbers, numbers. If there is any conflict, there is no one to turn to, not even human resources. If you do decide to work here - watch your back as it is very cutthroat there, be careful when you take time off, be careful of who you talk to and most of all - make sure to meet those numbers. Also, be very wary of any positive reviews posted here as they recently had a meeting about the many bad reviews they were getting on job web sites. A lot of them were written by management. They really need to take the word "Care" out of CareCentrix because that's one thing they don't do.

None really, was just bummed about how it ended. Upeer leadership was very transparent about what the dept future was heading towards though, so I appreciate it

Pros

Flexible scheduling with no set times for breaks or lunches Opportunities for renegotiation and open communication about work terms Availability of financial assistance and room & board support in the event of a catastrophic disaster

Cons

Barely any overtime; if overtime is available, you must be approved, placed on a list, and selected — and selection is rare Heavy micromanagement throughout the day Constant check-ins are required to receive work assignments Failure to respond immediately can result in being pulled into a one-on-one meeting No flexibility to work at your own pace; management controls when and how fast you work There are 10 different processes, each with roughly 20 steps, which can be overwhelming Processes frequently change, making them difficult to keep up with You are expected to constantly reference the DLP to avoid missing steps Missing a single step requires reworking the entire task, even if 40 minutes to an hour was already spent on it
