Pros
- Great benefits - If you take the initiative there is a lot to learn and the opportunity to do so - A great place to start out of college if you're nervous about the work world (Don't expect to work here more than 2 years and be happy)
Cons
- Culture: ^ No UNITY: every team is out to compete politically with one another, every division is competing with one another. There is no sense of unity across the CareFirst teams. Why not create a culture where the teams can work together? Result: Requests made that require multiple teams take months to complete due to arguments -Management: Most but not all, are looking out for their own best interest. It doesn't feel like they genuinely care about their employees but more about the work they want delivered. Result: Temporarily hard workers, do'ers that keep the lights on. After 2 years they lose motivation. Turnover after 3 to 4 years.
