Heavy top-down management. "Good Ole Boys club" mentality from management. If you are tagged their "golden child" there is nothing you can do wrong. Bonuses for mangement but nothing for employees. Lot's of "yes" managers, not many with much backbone. People skills lacking in management. They don't hire from within very often so we lose many good people because they hire mostly outside the company.
