Pros
Keeps you busy. Comp time is paid for work over 40 hours per week. There are some really good engineers and managers, if you can manage to find them and they aren't too overloaded.
Cons
Growth has not been well managed, and company seems desperate for bodies. Incompetent or poor performing staff is kept around just because of a need for bodies or they happen to be shareholders who are coasting. Some folks who can't engineer their way out of a wet paper bag somehow remain in management positions. Bonus are below average for a professional role. Seems that they expect comp time to be your bonus. Rewarding volume of work(or the time it takes to complete work) rather than quality, interesting thing to incentivize... Resource planning is a joke. Tends to work out as a rob Peter to pay Paul sort of thing that usually leads to folks working additional hours.
