Management is horrible - Sales Carrier Enterprise Employee Review

Pros

Great coworkers as a whole but as a whole employees feel abused. Customers are generally good. CE Homans does very well with metal, insulation and ductless. Customer delivery is so-so, better than some but many better than CE.

Cons

Customers clearly see transparency of the unhappy employee today, five years ago there was a waiting list to get in. In the Wilmington MA area over 300+ years of great product experience (multiple employees) have left the company in the past two to three years, not by accident. The new TM is told just sell what's in the barn you don't need anything more. Today if the customer needs technical support before or after the sale he is often on his own the experienced employee is gone, shameful. Management works by the good old boy rule and no corporate policy will change that, they work in packs targeting people. Bullies. Bonuses? You will likely never meet plan. Wages? 60% of industry standard but the bonus enticement is wowing during interview. Car allowance is gross, they will have you hauling crap in your car like a company truck and harass you if you don't. No longer a career company, no longer a Carrier company.

Pros

There are good people throughout the organization, and I had the opportunity to work with many talented coworkers over the years. The benefits and overall compensation were competitive, and I gained valuable industry experience.

Cons

Despite years of dedication and strong performance, I ultimately felt that loyalty was not valued. I was laid off under the explanation of declining sales, but based on my experience, I did not believe that fully reflected the circumstances surrounding my departure. The lack of transparency and communication during the process was disappointing and left me questioning how employment decisions are made. There were times when personal relationships and internal politics appeared to carry more weight than experience, performance, or long-term commitment. That created an environment where it was difficult to feel secure, regardless of your contributions.
